Air Canada Caesar Bar

To make a splash during the Calgary Stampede and show the valued Alberta Market the services Air Canada offers, from July 6-14 we created the first-ever YYCaesar Bar by Air Canada.

Why a Caesar bar? Not many people know that the Caesar we all know and love was invented in 1969 by restaurant manager Walter Chell in Calgary. What better way to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Caesar while paying homage the city that inspired it.

Consumers were encouraged to interact with Instagrammable visuals, enter our contest to win two tickets anywhere AC flies, and to enjoy one of our five Caesar cocktails for just $7, including a catered snack. A portion of proceeds benefited the Calgary Firefighters Charitable Foundation – it was without a doubt “the best deal in the city”.
